Join us in our BIG BANG LECTURE with Dr. Edward Gottesman and Dr. Yongchang Choi as they impart their knowledge and techniques for the Academy! Dr. Edward Gottesman, Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the ICOI, will be speaking on Prosthetically Driven Implant Positioning Using CAD/CAM Technology. He will also hold a STUDY CLUB the next day in PAID HQ!

Dr. Gottesman graduated from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After attending a general practice residency at Jamaica Hospitals, he completed his post-graduate training in Periodontics at the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Choi graduated from the Seoul National University Dental College with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He received his post-graduate training in Oral Anatomy from Seoul National University in 1988 and Oral Implantology from Loma Linda University in 1995. He received his Ph.D. In Dentistry in 1999 and received his Washington State Dental License in 2010. He founded Dr.

E.-J. Richter was born in 1951 and studied machinery and dentistry. From 1982 till 1996 he worked at the Department of Prosthodontics, Head Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Spiekermann, of the Aachen Dental School as a dentist and research fellow. In 1992 his thesis about tooth-to-implant supported restorations was published.

Prof. Robert Sader graduated in 1987 in Medicine and 1991 in Dentistry. Afterwards, he completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Munich until 1995, specialisation in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery followed in 1998. In 1999, he achieved the state doctorate and lecture qualification. 2002 he moved to Basel/Switzerland as deputy head of the University department.

Professional activities focused on traumatology of the skull inflammations, anomalies, impaired growth--cleft lip and palate, craniofacial surgery, orthopedic surgery--tumours, plastic surgery, preprosthetic surgery, implantology, oral surgery, Past President of D.E.I. german Society of Implantology, President of E.A.O. European Association for Osseointegration

Main interests: Traumatology, Reconstructive Oral, Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgery, Preprosthetic Surgery and Implantology, Microsurgery in the field of Cranio-Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. Investigation of bone replacement material with porous hydroxyapatite material, bone inductive proteins and bioengineered bone production.
