The Philippine Academy of Implant Dentistry (PAID) has introduced PAID 101, a pioneering training program aimed at advancing implant dentistry education. Officially launched on March 5, 2023, in Cebu City during PAID’s Scientific Seminar, the training program is currently being hosted at the PAID Headquarters in Makati City, Metro Manila. This initiative offers exceptional instruction led by the esteemed Fellows of PAID, who serve as trainers and mentors.

PAID 101 is dedicated to providing outstanding training in implant dentistry, with a mission that extends both within the Philippines and internationally. The program aims to deliver cutting-edge knowledge, advanced skills, and
rigorous ethical standards through a comprehensive curriculum and hands-on
clinical experience, ultimately improving patient outcomes globally.

The vision of PAID 101 is to emerge as the premier institution for implant dentistry education, recognized both locally and internationally. Program Leadership
PAID 101 is organized into four specialized departments: Dental Implant, Periodontology, Oral Surgery, and Prosthodontics. The program is overseen by a distinguished leadership team of Full Fellows, with Dr. Edric Castillo serving as Program Chairman, supported by Program Directors Dr. Maria Elisa C. Rivas, Dr. Stephen Almonte, and Dr. Ricky Martin Llorca. This leadership team, along with a roster of prominent PAID speakers and advisers, ensures that the curriculum remains comprehensive and up to-date.

The inaugural PAID 101 training program commenced on October 4, 2023, and is set to conclude on August 14, 2024, with the graduation ceremony scheduled for August 28, 2024.
